Jamie Johannes

Jamie started in freestyle karate aged just six. Training under Clifton Findley and Jason Ross he became a black belt at age 10. He grew to love the sport and the competitions becoming English and British champion at a very young age.

He has competed at many competitions in semi–contact and continuous light contact. At 16 he began teaching other students, starting at college and becoming a qualified sports coach. Now at 28 he has over 20 years’ experience and a 3rd Dan Black Belt. Teaching and coaching is a big passion of Jamie’s and he hopes to inspire and bring the best out of every student so they will be a success.

Amy Trower

Amy started training in freestyle karate at the age of 8, with M&C Freestyle. She took various breaks but at the age of 18 became a 1st Dan Black Belt.
Starting around age 12 Amy started to help teach the younger children and taking the warm ups in the lessons, this and her training meant Amy developed a passion for teaching Martial Arts. Since getting her Black Belt Amy has furthered her experience in teaching becoming an instructor for Inspired Martial Arts and she continues her own training in taekwondo under Ray Spencer and is aspiring to improve her knowledge and work towards her 2nd Dan Black Belt. As Martial Arts has become a big part of her life Amy hopes to pass on all her knowledge to others.

Nickisha Laughton

Nickisha has trained with Jamie from the age of 9 and became Black Belt 1st Dan at the age of 15

Andrew Mealyou

Andrew started martial arts in 2010. 7 years on still training under private tuition with Glyn Devey Instructor for Tai Chi, Karate and Weapons based in Aylesbury (Buckinghamshire).

From late 2016 Andrew started in Urban Combat JKD with Emil Martirossian based in Brighton (East Sussex), now at the age of 26 from attending various private lessons, seminars Andrew wants to broaden his horizon into teaching and coaching others whom be willingly to learn.

Andrew strives to bring out the best qualities in every individual student in order to release their potential through martial arts.
